ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring we have a diverse and active network of volunteers and activists who can deliver campaigns to ensure people and the planet thrive.
Develop and implement engagement strategies to put volunteers at the heart of our work
Recruit, manage, develop and inspire volunteers and activists to deliver campaigns and epic actions
Build and strengthen our volunteer and activist training program
You know what it takes to build a creative and passionate community of volunteers and activists. You are excellent at project management, networking and relational organising. You are self directed, adaptable, and strongly believe in the power of activism.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
At least three years experience in a similar role within the social change movement
Facilitation and training (adult education)
Coaching and mentoring
A passion for the environment and the work Greenpeace does
This role is based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and is a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent position.
You must hold an existing New Zealand work permit to be considered for this role.
