ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the technology team, this role plays a crucial part in the organisation’s digital journey and has oversight of our key engagement systems including CRM, payment gateways, Telemarketing solutions and digital marketing tools. The Product Owner works with end-users, dev teams and solution providers, gathering the business requirements and identifying the best solutions that can deliver now and for the future.
The Product Owner will engage with the dev team and provide vision and direction of the products. They understand how to clearly identify and describe product backlog items while maintaining oversight of the roadmap and communicating the overall product vision. We are looking for someone who loves digital technology and wants to make a difference in a non-profit.
Manage and lead software migration and development projects
Liaise with Greenpeace International product owners and developers for feature requests, product feedback and any other critical software decision making process
Efficiently deliver services, products, training and projects
Manage, coach and develop in-house developers and interns, where required
Lead daily standup / scrum meeting with the in-house team
Present product development and project updates to the stakeholders in the monthly and weekly steering group meetings
ABOUT YOU
You will have what it takes to drive continuous evolution and improvement of the organisation's engagement systems. You are an advocate for best practices and encourage and lead new ways of working, and love to share your tips and ideas promoting processes that result in the diversity of thought.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years experience in a senior product owner or business analyst or similar role
Be analytic, strategic, and solution focused
Demonstrate strong leadership ability
Have experience with Salesforce or similar CRM, payment gateways, digital marketing platform such as marketing cloud, automation tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to translate complex technical information across the organisation
Ability to work with highly technical stakeholders
Promote the product or services with stakeholders
Be adept in providing high quality customer service
Strong attention to detail
Experience in Jira, Trello or similar project management tools.

Our salaries are competitive with the not-for-profit sector and the range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000. This is a full time permanent position (37.5hrs per week) based in Tāmaki Makaurau.
