Greenpeace Aotearoa is looking for an experienced Telefundraising Manager to lead our in-house telefundraising team. This is a key role within the fundraising management team, with responsibility for developing and driving our telefundraising strategies. You will lead the day to day operations within our contact centre to drive this strategy, ensuring that our supporters have the best possible experience of Greenpeace and that the financial targets are met.
You will have experience in team management, leadership and team development with a focus on building a strong team who feel valued and passionate about the work they do - ideally within a contact centre environment. Alongside this you will be able to effectively align the telefundraising strategy with the wider fundraising and organisation strategy, working closely with other fundraising managers and Fundraising Director to achieve overall fundraising goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations within the Greenpeace Aotearoa contact centre
Develop and implement the telefundraising strategies, covering new support, retention and upgrades.
Responsible for maintaining and improving the supporter experience across all of Telefundraising and that robust quality assurance and training processes are in place.
Effectively lead and support the telefundraising management team, consisting of Team Leaders and a Performance Manager
Work with the Fundraising Director to prepare annual budgets and set targets for the Telefundraising programme.
Responsible for programme reporting and monitoring, ensuring visibility of team performance to the wider team
Ensure that our conversations drive key campaign messages and tell an inspiring story of how donors have a direct impact.
Ensure that the team feels connected to our work and are motivated to deliver their targets.
Job requirements
You must hold an existing New Zealand work permit to be considered for this role.
